Fields of work

Research and Development

The functions of a research and development department are to engage in new product research and development, existing product updates, quality checks and innovation. The functions of this department are closely related to the functions of the sales, production and other divisions, requiring collaboration. The department is crucial in developing new products that are competitive in the market through extensive product and market research.

Human Resources

The Human Resources Department (HR) provides overall policy direction on human resource management issues and administrative support functions related to the management of employees for all City departments. The mission of the department is to be a strategic partner by providing Human Resources programs that attract, develop, retain, and engage a skilled and diverse workforce. The vision is to be universally recognized for Human Resources excellence and as a premier employer.


Strategic Planning

Formulates management’s vision of the organization’s future state. Sets management’s organizational goals and objectives and their realization within specified time frames in order to attain the organization’s planned future state. Collects, evaluates external and internal information relevant to the organization’s present and future state. Develops long-range (strategic) plans that will properly position the organization to attain its desired future state. Implements a feedback and measurement system to assure implementation of approved plans and budget at all levels.

Finance

The part of an organization that manages its money. The business functions of a finance department typically include planning, organizing, auditing, accounting for and controlling its company's finances. The finance department also usually produces the company's financial statements.


Supply Chain/Logistics

Supply chain management (SCM) is the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they move in a process from supplier to manufacturer to wholesaler to retailer to consumer. Supply chain management involves coordinating and integrating these flows both within and among companies.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance department is the responsible party for implementing core processes into DMC that helps improving customer's experience, and cover frequent inbound and outbound liaising with clients to calculate customer satisfaction index.

Management, refers to the individuals who set the strategy of the organization and coordinate the efforts of employees to accomplish objectives by using available human, financial and other resources efficiently and effectively

Communications & Corporate Responsibility

Corporate communication is a management function or department dedicated to the dissemination of information to key constituencies, the execution of corporate strategy and the development of messages for a variety of purposes for inside and outside the organisation.


Legal

The legal department of a business handles legal issues that may come up in the course of business, ranging from drafting waiver forms for employees to handling lawsuits from angry customers.

Engineering

The Engineering function invents, researches, develops, designs, stimulates, controls, builds, tests, improves, validates, maintains and project manages: structures; machines; devices; systems; vehicles; components; materials; algorithms; and processes to required standards of quality, cost, timing, delivery and safety.

An IT organization (information technology organization) is the department within a company that is charged with establishing, monitoring and maintaining information technology systems and services.
