Position summary:

DAL Logistics [OPU] section's mission is to drive the delivery of Logistics Services to DAL Business Units through effective planning and coordination of logistics resources and activities to meet customer needs at optimal cost in the short, medium and longer term. The Logistics Business Partner, under the direction of the [OPU] manager and supported by the planning team, has primary responsibility for ensuring excellent delivery of these services to the Business Unit's he/she is partnering with.



Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Act as the Logistics manager within the business unit team.                                                                   

2. Participate as a member of the BU management team ensuring that all Logistics requirements are properly understood and communicated to the Logistics function in accordance with defined protocols.
3. Advise business units management on alternatives to determine the optimum logistics service .  
4. Identify opportunities to improve logistics service and /or reduce cost and present these to BU management.                                               
5. Work with the Logistics functional units and BU members to improve the Logistics processes and working relationships.                                     
6. Represent the interests and needs of the BU in Logistics functional meetings and reviews.                                                                                 
7. Ensure Logistics services are delivered in line with requirements.                                                                  
8. Continually optimize the cost/service trade off for logistics activities.                                                                            
9. Prepare and propose Logistics Budgets and other cost control techniques to ensure logistics costs are properly managed.



Minimum Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any relevant filed.
